I love looking at images like that because it really shows how my style evolved and also how I felt about the event at that time. I never thought about it in this way but I think that the multiverse rooftop sessions were a form of rebelling against the rigidity of school structure and the impossibility of doing anything that had not gone through vigorous approval by the student board.
The founder of Multiverse in SUTD is Nabila and Melissa and the group's purpose and motto was:
We are the bold voices of youth! And while our blood's still young, it's so young, it runs and won't stop till it's over. Won't stop to surrender!
So we said, no! Screw that!
This is by far one of my biggest and wildest accomplishments to date. The feeling that filled the room was indescribable. I would never trade it for anything in this world.
